A chubby 15-year-old pseudo-intellectual, how refreshing. It is kids like that I find interesting (from a sociological perspective). He seems easily angered/confrontational, narcissistic, and doesn't seem able to control his mouth (saying "fuck" that many times really diminishes any point he was trying to make). Many people believe it is kids like this that represent the majority of young-atheists, and perhaps they are right. I believe some atheists would be better off with religion, and he appears to be one of them (Mormonism would do him wonders).
If you are reading this bud, make an effort to find God, for the sake of yourself and those around you. Not everyone should be an atheist; many people need religion to keep their behavior in check. Respect is a two-way street; if atheists are to be respected, we must be respectful.

Had you watched the video, moron, you'd know that I introduce a different approach to pedophiles that encourages pedophiles to get the help they need, thus ensuring that cases of child molestation are lowered significantly.
It's one thing to create a post making yourself look like an idiot, and then not having the balls to bring it to my attention. but taking the word of an anonymous poster who claims something about me that isn't true; is just plain slimy, and I think you know it.

I tend to dislike people that sympathize with pedophiles. In the video you say "I have sympathy for pedophiles" (or something similar). When you sympathize with pedophiles, you should fully expect people to strongly disagree (to put it nicely).
ReplyDeleteIf what you say is true, and that guy is an "ex-pedophile" (really no such thing), then I'm not a big fan of him either. When someone is labeled as a pedophile, this means they typically have done something sexual involving children - should such people be sympathized with? I have a strong dislike of people that harm children, sorry. You can't treat a sexual lust, you can only suppress/destroy it (why castration of pedophiles would be a good strategy).
As far as making you aware of this post, I write a lot of posts about people on YouTube. Anyone that is worried about what others are saying about them on the internet are free to use Google (as I assume you have).
When I saw the video in this particular post (calling young YouTube atheists "idiots"), I thought it would be entertaining to pick on a hypocrite (I had fun).
That said, don't worry or take what people say on the internet all too seriously. If you do, your YouTube profile name will be hilariously ironic. Don't be a sad panda :(
Well, I do have sympathy for pedophiles, and there is nothing I can do to change that. My sympathy isn't for the offenders, but for the people that are afflicted by the disorder and have to live their life being afraid to seek help, and are treated like complete garbage (contrary to how they were treated when they themselves were molested).

Anyone that views a child as a sexual object is a disgusting human being, to sympathize with such people makes you almost as bad. Pedophiles are hated for good reason. There seems to be some issue within your world-view that is preventing you from seeing the light on this issue.
There is something about you that makes me hope you aren't around many children. You do not seem to have that protective element at all, and your empathy for pedophiles makes me even more concerned.
Regardless, have empathy for those that are actually victimized (the children). Yes, being molested as a child can underly sexual deviance, but it is far from an excuse.

That isn't true at all. It is the hostility towards pedophilia that keeps it suppressed within our society. To have empathy for such behavior is to essentially condone it - this would undoubtedly lead to more pedophilia. If you had a child that was molested, I think your stance on pedophilia would be different (I hope it would at least).
