With all these incidences of pedophilia that have brought to the media's attention over the last few years, I cannot understand why any sane human would continue to belong to this cult of child rapists (maybe they don't watch the news or don't care). The Vatican should have action taken against it for crimes against humanity—being that it is actively engaged in protecting pedophiles, this makes them accessories after-the-fact (maybe 'before' in some cases).

There is an obvious trend here with the Catholic Church and pedophilia. Should the Catholic Church be considered a safe-haven for pedophiles? Absolutely, at least until the organization becomes aware of their moral-hypocrisy. They see condoms being used to prevent aids as being worse than the virus itself on one hand, and priests doing sexual things with young boys as being acceptable on the other—what a strange moral philosophy.

While it wouldn't completely eliminate all of it, allowing priests to marry would be a big step. In my opinion, any man that decides to live his entire life in celibacy isn't playing with a full deck of cards, this is probably the main reason why the priesthood attracts such people. Now, I'm not claiming all Catholic priests are pedophiles (impossible to know). Perhaps there are some genuine men which love God more than having sex and raising a family. I obviously am unable to understand it, just like I am unable to understand why a person would do that to a child.
