Sorry, but didn't think this proved anything. Every prayer is answered, not always the way we want it to be, but always the way that will lead us to a greater purpose. everything happens for a reason. so tell me what you believe. Where are you going when you die? Nowhere? If so, then I guess life just doesn't matter and has no purpose... I say not! Life does have a purpose!
Think about this statement..."There is no gold in China." For that to be true you would have to have infinite knowledge of China, you would have to know what is in every jewelry box, in every shop, you would have to KNOW that there was no gold dust at the bottom of a river! Now think about this statement..."There is gold in China." Now for that one to be true you would only have to know very little, like if you find one little speck of gold dust or a gold ring in a palace. See how this correlates with Christianity? In order to say..."There is no God." You would have to know everything in the universe. All 100% of everything in the universe! Now I know that that is impossible. So now look at the statement..."There is a God." For that to be true you would only have to prove one little aspect and you would prove a God. It is so much easier to prove God than to disprove Him.
So because I am not aware of all things within the universe, I cannot know that God DOESN'T EXIST?!
That argument could be used to argue for the existence of literally anything the human-imagination can conjure up. Do you have any way to know (not "believe" or have "faith" in)..I mean actually know this being exists? If so, describe how you are able to do this, and describe what this God guy is (not what he is responsible for doing, or what his views are towards humans/human actions).
I know that you can't know about a god's existence. For you to claim to know about the unknowable is IMPOSSIBLE (God is unknowable, people can't get beyond faith). You cannot do the impossible. God is so obviously man made, it's ridiculous.
What if I was the claim that the entire universe was created by cosmic gnomes? I could use all the same arguments you use to argue for existence of a God just as effectively. This shows that your "question" does not hold water. Be a bit more creative than the whole "well, you can't disprove God...even though no tangible evidence exists whatsoever..."
Sorry, if that seemed a bit ranty...hopefully you find your answer somewhere in that. :P

ReplyDeleteWe have evidence that gold exists in the universe.
ReplyDeleteHaha very funny, see you cannot answer my question.
