I'm a big Ron Paul supporter, and was during his last run at the White House. This time around I believe he has a much better shot at it. I know that many rational individuals support the guy due to his responsible and rational platform. I'm curious how many atheists out there support him. Obviously I (admin of this blog) am an atheist that supports him. Anyways, I'm rambling. For anyone reading this, leave a comment if you support Ron Paul. Also post links to his site, donate--you know the drill.

ron pauls message of freedom, liberty and personal responsibility transcends religious boundaries. It transcends national boundaries. I think it is a sign of integrity that he tries not to make his faith an issue and embraces the right that folks have to make up their own mind in regards to their belief system.
ReplyDeleteI'm an atheist for Ron Paul as well. I'm a libertarian to begin with, so it is a pretty easy call for me. I don't agree with him on every issue, but I respect him tremendously and I think he's just what the US needs. While I personally largely support Dr. Paul's proposed domestic policy changes, I hope that progressives will consider that Dr. Paul is going to be more likely to achieve his anti-war foreign policy goals than his domestic goals should he become president. I hope more of my friends on the left will get behind Ron Paul.
