Cops arrest preacher over Christian beliefs
The issue of whether this violates free speech is not all that clear-cut. If religion is removed from the equation, then all this man would be doing is ranting about his hatred towards homosexuals (which is hate speech). While people should be free to express themselves, if a person preaches on a street corner about how a particular type of person is 'evil' or 'wrong', and is covered under free speech, then I do not see where there is room for hate speech in that legal system. Religion should not give people a free pass to express their hatred of others in public.
