Ayaan Hirsi Ali: Banning the Burqa Misses the Point

I have to agree with Ayaan Hirsi Ali, the debate should be waged on the 'why', not the 'what'. A burqa is a piece of clothing, in itself, there is nothing wrong with it, what should be looked at is the 'why'. Banning burqas does nothing but make Muslims feel more alienated, which will cause them to further refuse to integrate into western society.
