LOL....what does 'energy healing' even mean? What a joke....
Belief can be very powerful by making people FEEL better. Perception is what is being altered, not medical condition. The placebo effect can be very powerful, and that is all this is. People that say this is real are people that WANT it to be real. A magical world is much more interesting than a cold, heartless material one. Sometimes people prefer false-ideas that feel good as opposed to true-ideas that don't.

Where is James Randi when we need him - saying you are a Skeptic does not mean anything.
ReplyDeleteLets have some reality and balance please - James Randi can soon show how this is done, as can Penn and Teller, then there are others who can speak with knowledge on this kind of fraud.
Call the American Skeptics society and they will provide someone to counter this dangerous fake.
Shame on Oprah, people, including children will die because of her promotion of non-science, her promotion of this fake is as disgraceful as her promotion of the anti-vacine gang.
Entertainment is one thing, endangering life is another.
