Gladwell on Income Inequality: We're Off the Rails

Two million dollars would be a good wealth cap, anything more is obscene. At the moment the gap between the rich and the poor is becoming so large that we as a society are begging for another great depression. If we had a wealth cap of 2 million dollars today, our economy would be much more stable, and the standard of living for the majority would be greatly improved. The wealthy seem to believe they earned every cent they have; but in fact it was other people that also earned that money. The wealthy are in a better position to exploit the efforts of the masses.
