It is sickening to think that some people make a living lying to children. I remember during my Sunday school days (when I was 7 years old or so) the teacher told us students that if we ever see a snake, we should kill it. He told us that snakes were evil creatures—isn't that kind of f'ed up to be telling a child? Shouldn't that be considered child abuse? That is the kind of stuff that breeds paranoid delusional people—teaching them to fear the world and death itself.
