Science vs. Religion: the inevitable battle? Examining the conflict thesis

It's more like religion will always be in conflict with reality. This video is wrong in saying that religion "tells us why"...science does a much better job of telling us why we are here, and what part we play in this universe. Religions only purpose is to exploit the ignorance of the masses.
