What Does the Future Hold for Humanity? (Fora TV)

It is impossible to predict any sort of longterm trend with human life because it changes so rapidly. I believe it is equally likely that we will nuke ourselves into oblivion as it is that we overpopulate.

Humanity is not based upon what it owns, but instead what it knows. Unlike a lot of "stuff" that changes hands and/or gets destroyed in a proverbial blink of an eye, knowledge can last for as long as our society (perhaps even longer). Unfortunately there are forces that are out to destroy knowledge, which is why the future can not belong to religion. An atheistic world will preserve human knowledge—a religious world will destroy it, given enough time.

  1. The only reason you know anything today is because of religion a book
Called the bible being passed down from generation to generation.
