If this were true (I have my doubts), it would be interesting as to what the underlying causes are. Obviously, even if atheism is on the decline, it doesn't prove that atheism is false (truth =/= democracy). While I may be biased, I believe that a decline of atheism would only reflect a decline in education and/or increase in fear. I'm no Nostradamus, but I don't see atheism going anywhere (rise or fall) anytime soon.
Shockofgod (maker of this video) would love to see atheism go away; not for the sake of the atheists, but because it makes it easier for him to believe his fairytale. In his mind (and many others), truth is dictated by the opinions of the majority (at least within certain societal context), and we all know how smart your average American is.
